The letter was softly blown by the breeze. The wind was a decidedly cold one at that yet it was no surprise considering the letter was from her mother. It swirled around the woman, knocking her hat from her head. White hair tumbled down her back. Long and thick. Normally it was kept up, Normally she wore thick leather armour and had a quiver strapped to her back. Yet something about her this morn was different...

The Dread Arrow turned as her first mate came up to her with an odd look on his face. The wild tumbles of hair blowing in the wind she stared at him with keen eyesight, gifted it was said, by her drow father. What do you want, her ire high from being disturbed in her reverie. You gave orders to turn the ship around Captain, we just left port yesterday.

She stared at him, Yes, Take us back to port. But Capn why? She glanced down at the letter and smiled. I have people to see...a sudden Yen to visit the mountains. The Mountains, but what about our shipment...

She scoffed, it can wait, I have more important things to do. My fathers home....

The first mate shook his head, she was usually cold, cruel, calculated, and money driven. All excellent qualities for a Capn, made her well endeared to her crew. This side of her he didn't like but what choice had he, this was the best money he had made in a while....
