Standing there looking down at the letter in his hands, Vian thought for a very long time.

Only on the rarest of occasions did Vian care who knew things he had said. He had always stood strong in his beliefs and words, as he did with this. But this was supposed to keep his cousin focused, to make sure his thoughts and actions were his own. The fact that Cyrus had gone straight to Ariana with it, proved his concern true.

Folding the letter and placing it in his pouch Vian made a mental note to find Ariana that evening for this meeting.
