Her feet crunched as they made their way thru the snow. The ground tugging at them, the snow a bit deeper today than ussual. She did not mind, she loved it, she loved her mountain home.

Always had she sought the cool soothing chill of the mountains embrace and now it walked with her every day. Yet now as she walked up the path she beheld a sight that brought much surprise. Alexis stood outside their great keep with none other then Lestat, her father.

Merci paused...

Lestat saw her right away an intense gaze as he looked at her..Anger swelled within her. Always had they come and gone, Kel, Lestat, perhaps it was her own fault. Her own inability to marry, to live as others did in normal lives. Robbing her children of a normal family Merci was wild and unable to submit the Mother/Father wedded bliss role that some would crave. Yet it had never mattered to them or at least so she hoped.

Yet Lestat had returned, searched her out and asked simple things of her...

Did you miss me? She wanted to punch him....

Confliction grew on her face and soft growl came from her....

I am back Merci and I am not leaving... She stared lost in thought, that would remain to be seen, emotion overcame her for a moment and then her face returned to its stoney coldness.
