The last few weeks had been the most memorable in the young Prince's life. He had been knighted, promoted to Sergeant, and Sanctus had fully taken the fight to the vampires, with great success. The men and women of Sanctus had put in great effort returning the Kingdom to its roots, and its military to a force to be reckoned with.

With things going well on those fronts, Vian had been putting alot of time into his investigation of the calling cards of death found in Blackguard from the Lich Lord Darrien Church. Sitting there pouring over the information he had gathered, he couldn't believe that no one had really questioned things before. There was evidence of foul play and deception all over the place. People were either to distracted, or to scarred to pursue it.

"I have to be missing something" he thought to himself
"There is a connection, I know it"

With his elbows on the table before him he failed to rub the exhaustion from his eyes.

"What could it be?"

After a few moments he abruptly stood and began an incantation for the spell of recall. The secret chamber he had been shown contained some clue he had missed. He was determined not to miss it the second time around.
