"Head Constable..." Those words kept repeating in Spawn's mind after reading the message from Rhiannon that he was named the Head Constable of the Moonglow Town Council. The newly named Head Constable had mixed reactions about being given the position at first. He was retired from duty like this since he wanted to spend more time with his wife and help his son Darius with his skills and understanding of the world he was born into. Now that he came out of retirement, he felt more complete as he was now given a position that he was more than qualifed for since he held similiar positions in Rivendell, Stormhaven, Sanctus, and even the Regency. Spawn could be considered a true follower of justice, perhaps more than anyone he knew.

A day after being given the position of Head Constable, Spawn was in Sanctus where his manor stood but was being reconstructed into something else, something to help him in his new path. The workers who were hired by the House of Spawn worked hard day and night to complete the reconstruction of Spawn's Sanctus manor into the new Office of the Head Constable of Moonglow. A few days later, the office was going under its final stages of construction as Spawn stood in front of the nearly completed structure seeing the exceptional job of his workers.

Two Days Earlier

"Lord Spawn" said the head worker, Patrick who was approaching Spawn from the entrance of the structure. "Your office is almost complete sire, we just need to finish the rooftop" Patrick said pointing up towards the top of the building where the workers were placing the stones.

"Very good Patrick... Well done" Spawn said with a small nod as he continued to look over the structure. Darius Skyfire, Spawn's son, recalled into the front of the house and looked at the construction as he walked up towards his father. Darius was told about Spawn's new position in the council taking the news with mixed emotions as well. He was glad that Spawn was back doing something he was meant to do. On the other hand, the young Skyfire was worried that Spawn would not be home as much as he used to when he was retired since he would be in Moonglow upholding the law.

"It is looking good so far father" Darius said standing next to Spawn with a small smile on his face.

"Indeed my son" Spawn says looking over towards Darius giving him a grin. "Soon it will be done and I can resume my duties as Head Constable" Hours later, Spawn's new office was fully completed and ready for him to use.

Present Day

Spawn sat in his office organizing papers on his desk getting himself settled in. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door in his office.

"Come in..." Spawn said sitting down behind his desk glancing over towards the door to see who it was. The door slowly opened as Darius entered the office and gave his father a respectful bow with his head.

"Father, Am I interrupting you?" Darius asked closing the door behind him before walking over towards his father at his desk

"Nonsense... Come sit down my son" Spawn said motioning towards one of the chairs in front of his desk. Darius nodded slowly as he made his way towards the desk and sat down quietly. "How are you my son?" Spawn asked leaning back in the chair as he watched his son sit down in front of him.

"I see you have settled into your new office father, How is the new position treating you?" asked Darius who also leaned back in the chair he was sitting in.

"Good good, It's like riding a horse again after stopping for awhile... you just get back into it" Spawn said with a small grin.

"Good to hear father, may I speak to you about something? Darius asked with a concerned look on his face. Spawn gave the young Skyfire a small nod as he was ready to listen. "Father, I have some concerns about you and this position that was bestowed upon you" Darius said looking at the floor below him.

"Go on..." Spawn said with a small nod. Darius cleared his throat as he began to speak again.

"Father, I'm worried that you are doing too much for someone your age and also that you shall not be home as much as you were" Darius said looking back towards his father. "I just don't want anything to happe-" Darius went to say before being stopped as his father raised his hand indicting for Darius to stop speaking.

"My son, you need not worry about me for I am able to carry the duties that has been given to me just as good as I was years ago" Spawn said standing up from his chair making his way towards the nearby window. "Would you rather me sit at home, retired, and have me waste away?" Spawn asked as he glanced over his shoulder towards Darius, who shook his head to Spawn's question as if answering no. "Moonglow needs me my son as there is too much chaos and unrest in the city" Spawn said glancing out the window he got close enough.

"I understand father" Darius said standing from his seat.

"I am back Darius and with me comes the return of Moonglow justice... I will make sure those who violate Moonglow law are brought to justice" Spawn said glancing over his shoulder towards his son. Darius nodded with a smile on his face, proud of his father's words as well as his return upholding justice and the law of Moonglow.

"Very good father" Darius said making his way towards the door leading out of the office "I'm glad you have returned father, farewell to you" He said opening the door and walking out of the office. Spawn sat down at his desk and began sorting his papers again preparing for his new position.
