King Sid of Yew,
I write to you to inform you that there will be a battle taking place one week from this date just outside your borders between Moonglow and the Legion of Honor. As a leader, I would be weary of battles being fought just outside of territory that I occupy, so I wished to inform you that Moonglow has no intentions of stretching its claims into your region.
However, the above will become null and void should you decide to give assistance to Lord Malo in the coming battle. I do not wish for this war to stretch in to your lands, but should you supply troops to fight for Lord Malo, you will give me no choice.
This letter is not written in malice, but rather written with the respect that one leader has for another. I do not know you personally, but see no reason as to why I should dislike you. Yew, from what I have seen, has seen a great many wars. Let us resist repeating history.
Sincerely,
Cal Hurst
Mayor of Moonglow

Mayor Hurst
On behalf of the King I wish to inform you that bringing an army across the lands of Yew would be considered an act of aggression ,also I was told you inform you that Lord Malo is a Baron of Yew and he supports Yew in its defence as the other Baron's and Baroness's have sworn do . Its not matter of choice for the Kingdom of Yew to defend...its a sworn duty. Let me remind you that Yew is part of the Protectorate and an attack on Yew or any lands within its Kingdom could trigger a response from the Protectorate.

Prime Minister Jangiri,
You would do well to inform your King that we have no intention of trekking across Yew. We are, in fact, attacking by boat.
You would also do well to inform your King that the Protectorate nearly disbanded the other eve, and lost a good portion of its force. The Protectorate's military is but a shadow of its former glory, and does not stand a chance against the armies that Moonglow, alongside its friends, can amass if it is necessary. I assure you, if a charge is to be led into Yew, I will not be as merciful as the Vampires were with Britain. I will not allow for a set number of soldiers to face off in battle. The full force will be felt.
Moonglow will not hesitate to call upon its friends and invade Yew with full force should it decide to involve itself in this war. The choice is yours' and yours' alone. I have done all I can to forewarn you.

King Sid of Yew,
The day draws closer, and you still have not given a guarantee that you will not aid Lord Malo in the upcoming battle. Your last letter indicated that you plan on doing so, and we have begun planning preparations to march into the town of Yew. These preparations are easily undone, however, if you are to give me your word that you and yours will not help Lord Malo.
This is not a difficult choice. Be sensible.
Cal Hurst
