|
The priestess hugged the wall closely as she carefully moved around the building that the forces of Moonglow were lined up along. She had been patrolling here for a few days hoping to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. They had recently sided with a common ally, the vampires, to assist them in claiming the town of Britain. She had heard rumors of them being under attack recently as well, and was hoping to get to watch a good fight.
As usual, mostly idle chit chat was observed for most of the evening. Then during a time when one of their leaders left his post out front of the troops, another man, a civilian it appeared addressed the troops, "hate all elves", he said. Several of the troops responded that they already did. Odd considering at least two standing there in formation with them were themselves of elvin decent, of the wretched surface variety, but elvin none the less. Then suddenly a female human appeared, not far from where the priestess had been hiding. She immediatly began to chastise the man and forbid the troops to repeat his ideolgy again. She told the man to take his humanis beliefs to Magincia, to which he responded that if he left he would take most of the militia with him when he left. The leader returned and chastised the man as well for voicing his hatred of elves, the issue was dropped and they went about their normal routine.
Upon her return, she advised her patron, the archemage, to investigate the matter further. "Perhaps I shall speak with Drayden concerning this matter. He has associates who may be able to assist in this," he told the priestess. He could tell by her mannerism she wished to hear no more on the matter for now. "Orgollree'rean, to my chambers", she called as she walked toward that direction. |
