"Why dinnae' I see it? How the 'ell did I miss it?!" she yelled, scooping up one of the expensive, polished crystal glasses and threw it hard against the wall of the room. The glass shattered and rained down in a hail of jagged blue-green shards of crystal. She stormed around the table, her eyes absent of her normally controlled disposition and demeanor. "I should 'ave seen it... I should 'ave known better!" she raged, scooping up another of the sacrificial glass victims and hurled with all the force of her tiny frame. The glass shattered loudly, the sound in perfect emphasis as if it were a physical exclamation point to her words. The remaining composure drained from her face as the crystalline pieces hailed upon the stone floor. She was in a fit of tantamount proportions, rage burning in her blue eyes as they watched the pieces come crashing down as if mirroring her world as it fell into chaos.

She sat down, pouring herself a glass of cold water from the crystal pitcher into one of the two remaining glasses. She brought it to her lips, her hand trembling visibly as the clear liquid sloshed back and forth in the glass. She took a long drink, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. She pulled the glass edge sharply from her lips as she spoke loudly even though the room seemed quite barren, "The plan was perfect... flawless..." Her hand tightened on the glass slightly, "Obviously, it was nay as perfect as I thought. I made a mistake in some key area... " She brought to her lips again, pausing as she took another quick drink before speaking, "Everyone would 'ave gotten w'at they wanted, but nay... " She drained the glass in a smooth motion, pouring herself another glass of water, "They jus' 'ad t'cause problems..." She took a long drink emptying it, her hands still tight on the glass.

She gritted her teeth slightly as she said, "Nay... the fault o' this lies nay wit' them. They did w'at they should 'ave... I am the one who made the mistake. I dinnae' predict these events." She slammed the glass hard on the table, shattering it and sending shards deep into her skin. She looked down sharply at her hand, her fierce blue eyes glaring as the blood quickly welled along the edges of the wounds. She narrowed her eyes a moment as her lips tightened as she watched, no sign of pain on her face. With a howl of frustration, she pulled her injured hand to the side quickly and then in a single, furious motion she sent her arms sweeping across the table. The remaining glass, the pitcher and the shards of broken crystal that did not embed themselves in her bare arm took flight from their previously ordered existence. Blood dripped readily from the wounds, squeezing quickly past the shards that were sticking precariously from her skin. She gritted her teeth as she stood, her injured arm hanging limply at her side. A slow steady stream of blood coursed down her arm and dripped from her manicured fingernails and onto the imported hardwood floor. She strode over to the door, a perfect picture of ferocious nobility with her chin lifted high and her body moving in almost a regal fashion as she flung open the door with her other hand. "Clean t'at up... now. " she stated as she walked past Shiori who had been waiting patiently outside the door. She glided down the stone steps, a trail of blood moving in her wake as she placed her left hand on the wall at the bottom. Seconds later. the panel of stone groaned and slid grudgingly open. With a lack of concern, she moved across the living room to the teleporter that led to her private chambers. Even as her foot touched the teleporter, "See t'it I am nay disturbed, " she shouted loudly.

The blood continued it's steady dripping on the ground as if it were a steady, insistent carnal knock on some unseen door.
