Lords and Ladies,

The following is a collection of evidence against the Triad that Moonglow holds to prove the Triad’s involvement in and commitment of many transgressions against Moonglow. It includes evidence of association with “The Dragon,” a known criminal who has been responsible for kidnappings and extortion attempts and is someone the Triad has denied involvement with in the past. It also includes evidence of acts committed against the Council by members of the Triad.

I. On October 29, 2008, Lady Rhiannon and her son, Aegis, were kidnapped from their home on Verity Isle. Matt Ordin of the Triad claimed to have information about the whereabouts of Rhiannon and Aegis and offered to exchange said information in for gold. The Triad was always suspect in the kidnappings, as the abductions occurred after they were denied permit to sell their “products” in Moonglow and then conveniently arrived with information that was not public knowledge immediately after the abductions. The “products” they offered and were denied permit for included harm nightshade, blackrock, and prostitution.

II. Wolfe awoke after months of amnesia to discover a “hit list” on his person, naming key Moonglow officials. He allowed three people to know: Bai Yunchan of the Triad, Phyrra and Rhiannon, both of Moonglow. While Wolfe’s amnesia prevents him from remembering how he came in possession of the book, he does know that the Dragon put a hit out on him because he had possession of said list. We deduce that since Phyrra and Rhiannon would not have leaked the information; it must have been Bai who informed the Dragon that he had possession of the list. This connects Triad members to the Dragon.

III. After infiltrating the Triad, Wolfe was propositioned by Matt Ordin to initiate a war between Capp and MTC. Matt asked Wolfe to secure membership in MTC and to subsequently assassinate Lord Ronin of the Cappadocians. The hopes were that an assassination of Lord Ronin by a member of MTC would incite a war between Capp and MTC.

IV. Lord Ronin informed us that the Triad contracted The Blue Lotus to assassinate some of MTC’s key officials. In a discussion concerning said contracts Bishimi of The Blue Lotus told Mayor Cal Hurst that the Blue Lotus puts a lot of thought into what contracts they may or may not take. The Blue Lotus was led to believe that the people targeted (Moonglow) were not "friendly.” Please see the following transcript for further detail.

Bishimi says, "An oshiego of mine, Souichiro, was helped much by [Moonglow's] people upon arriving here. But I did not listen to him. Moonglow was called war mongers and I was told Moonglow kept its people from basic necessities of life. I should have looked deeper into it before accepting."

Cal says, "And all of these things were told to you by whom? We have evidence leading to believe that it was one named Matt Ordin. Associated with the Triad, and 'the Dragon.'"

Bishimi says, "I will not say if you are right or wrong. But I have heard of the trouble he is causing, and it would make sense [if it were him], wouldn't it?"

Cal says, "Indeed it would. What troubles have you heard he is causing?"

Bishimi says, "In your lands. The flyers, the threats, I feel they are a result of his people. I can almost promise it."

Cal says, "We believe he is also guilty of extortion, or the attempt of, concerning one of the new businesses in Moonglow."

Bishimi says, "It sounds like something he would do."

V. The Triad requested that the Cappadocians place an embargo on Moonglow in attempt to suffocate the Isle. The Cappadocians complied, but only as a ruse in order to aid MTC officials in gathering information about the Triad.

VI. Cal Hurst had a run in with a hooded figure, demanding his "share" of Brittany's business from her at her house, something the Dragon had demanded. Cal confronted the man, and eventually the man attacked Cal. Cal quickly disposed of the man, and removed the hooded shroud. Under the shroud was a man bearing Triad colors. The man was also seen previously in the Den of Sin alongside Matt Ordin. Matt Ordin appeared at the scene shortly after the scuffle.

VII. In addition to the aforementioned transgressions against MTC, the Triad’s association with “The Dragon” should be considered. Ransom notes concerning the kidnapping of Rhiannon and Aegis were signed by “The Dragon.” (See attached copies.) “The Dragon” has also left several threatening messages at the home of Brittany Tyven in an attempt to extort money from her bakery. (See attached copy.)

The following letters are transcribed verbatim for your reading.

Sent to Brittany Tyven of Moonglow, early January 2009:

My dear Brittany,

Where shall I begin. You have seen my face not once but twice. This is something that I can not just let slide. I am a reasonable person and have came up with a few options for you.
1) We can just kill you and that will cover all our previous problems.
2) You can give us a 50% profit sharing of your lovely new business.
As you can see we always know where you are and where you will be. Your friend’s can’t protect you as we’ve made them disappear before as well. A little birdy will come by tomorrow’s eve to find out your answer.
