Kaethe stood at the top of the stairs and watched as her husband gathered up his gear,"müssen Sie so bald gehen?,"she asked as she pulled her robe around her more and moved down the stairs to join him.

"Ja meine Kaiserin..,"he said as he sheathed his sword then turned to look at her,her blue eyes glazing over with tears causing him to move closer to her,"nicht für viel länger..,"he said as she nodded then looked down to the ground.

"unsere Zeit war zusammen mein Kaiser zu kurz..,"she whispered softly as she lifted her gaze and looked to him a moment before moving to rest herself against him,"bald… gehen jetzt Rest…,"he said then pulled away and moved out the door.Lifting a hand up she wiped her tears then moved to the window to watch him,"Rückkehr sicher,"she whispered as she watched him ride away.
