The sun rose, casting light over the ruins, the cold breeze placid on the shadows. A peaceful scene destined to not last.

Flames erupted outside the ruins, smoke billowing and drifting into the ruins. Myrddin's eyes rose with his kyrss drawn each of the party approaching the disturbance slowly.

From out the smoke a familiar sight approached, one of the lycan twins stared at them, her blue eyes twinkling with mischief.

She ran, and they gave chase, pursuing their would be attacker. The chase carried out, a burst of flames erupting in front of them, smoke filling their vision.

"The scent is gone." Myrddin searched for the smell on the air, but it was faint and the smoke was acrid.

They returned to the camp, Merci and Willow were just returning from their hunt, and the whole party settled down for sustainence.

It took only moments for them to realize something was wrong, as Tommy began to choke and gag. The others quickly following.

Willow and Mal stood staring to one another and between the group, confounded.

"Willow, stay here with them, I am going to fetch water... and aid."

With a burst of flame, he was gone. Fortune on their side today.

Cear Dallben, the god of Alchemists strode up to Delucia bank. A familiar face, and a fortunate face to see.

Malikhia explained the situation and gathered water and milk, while "Ralph" prepared. They both returned to the camp when they were ready.

Mal and Willow divied out the water and milk while "Ralph" worked on his concoction, a cure.

Upon it's finish he gave it to each of the afflicted, their vitality almost instantly improving.

Mr. Dallben strode away and the camp settled down for the evening. The cure comming to late for the pack animals and some of their hired help. Only the strong survived.
