Ronin returned to the Manor, being mindful of the ice patches that had been the source of much humor as others fell on their arses so many times recently.

He stepped onto the left side of the porch, then forward one step; he notices the note pinned to the pillar. Momentarily distracted, there is a loud clatter of metal, followed by a "thud." Ronin remains seated on the icy stone steps, reads the note and pens a reply.

Matriarch,

It was good to here from you, I have been meaning to get with you myself but have been heavily involved with clan affairs.

I have no plans for this Thursday evening, if this is acceptable with you I would enjoy coming to Umbra to visit and discuss things at this time.
