Written scriptively in the small notebook which she had procured and brought with her.

Dear Journal,

Tis our first night with heads to rough ground, small rocks embedding sometimes in my ears. Yet we are tough and little things such as this are very much unnoticed.

We are not in the best of positions this eve it seems we are in the crystal woods between Sanctus and Luna. Sanctus was ever so careful to escort us away as they wished not our tarrying. Davaran was not driven by kindness in this but in a hope most likely that we would die upon our journey and thus we would be one less problem for Sanctus. We sleep tonight with wary eyes that open fretfully aware of our surroundings.

I am given comfort that Mal does not sleep and tends the fire, which Kuruth has huddled close to. I myself have positioned myself as far from it as possible of course, and I am sure Ceinwyn would laugh if she could see me now. I hope that Umbra is well and I know it shall be for it is in her hands and she created the beast that is a beloved homeland for many.

We have a new person among us tonight. If he can be called a person that is, he is a Meer and if you wonder how this Meer ended up in Malas the answer is almost to ridiculous
.

And I quote:
Quote:
I fell asleep in a box of bananas...and ended up here

This Meer is young I can tell, and his original intents were to steal (he is a poor thief for the moment) food from our caravan. Willow pulled the wily fellow from a tree and I had a hard time not laughing in spite of myself. Instead being true to Umbran nature Mryddin has brought this outcast into our fold and here he shall grow and learn. I have no doubt with proper training he will become very valuable.

Tomorrow we stop in Luna, and gather more supplies, for now all goes well. I miss my homeland but a cold wind pulls me. I must follow it and follow our new leader with budding excitement

Myrddin is in his prime this was the right move for him and I hope that our journey is a smooth one...
Merci
