Brit smiled happily when Laz said he would pass the letter along to Merrique. "Thanks!" She giggled and kissed him on the cheek before scurrying out the door.

The letter reads:

Hi there!

My name is Brittany Tyven, and I am a citizen of Moonglow. I am writing to ask if I might use the Den for a party next Wednesday. Some of Moonglow's finest, Vaen Swiftar and Beowulf Thormear, are going out of town for what may be a long while and I wish to throw them a party. I anticipate bunches of people so we will need bunches of space, and I think the Den is the perfect size! Just send a messenger with your response and I will pay him or her for the messaging service.

Thanks!

-Brittany-

Receiving the note from Lazarus, Merrique read it and smiled. What an interesting thing, she thought. Quickly, she penned a response and sealed it with wax. The courier hired was paid in advance to travel to Verity Island and find Ms. Tyven.

Dear Ms. Tyvan,
The Den would be glad to help you host a party. Please let me know how I might be able to help you in the planning and carrying out of your event.
In Darkness,
Merrique
P.S.: The courier has been paid. If he tells you otherwise, please do send him back directly to me.
