Chancellor,

First off, congratulations on your appointment. I apologize I have been unable to do so in person. While news of the situation in Sanctus has reached me, I regret to inform you I myself cannot come to assist. However, my son Vian is of age, and shall arrive in Sanctus shortly. He is to receive no special treatment and must earn his stripes as any other soldier would. Thank you for your assistance and leadership during these troubled times.

Thank you for sending your son to aid us in our time of need. We await his arrival eagerly. He shall have no special treatment and be brought up in great Sanctus tradition. I hope we shall meet again soon.
