Greetings old friend,

I do hope this letter finds you in good spirits. I have noticed some of your ships patrolling Verity Isle. I am not too sure why, but I'm certain there's a good reason for it. Therefor, I would like the opportunity to speak with you man to man, so that we can rectify whatever the situation is. This is by no means a formal meeting, so let's do this over a bottle of ale.

Normally such acts are an indication of war, and were these ships waving the flag of any Protectorate loyalist, you can be sure I'd be out there burning the ships myself. But I wish no ill will towards the Cappadocians, as I have always held them in high regard.

Regardless, I'll be sure to chill some ales for us, so that we may talk this over a bit. I look forward to seeing you.

Greetings my old friend,

I was happy to see your letter in these troubled times. Although my spirits remain good, current events and the pursuing actions that I have been forced to take have been very troubling to me. I do not take these actions lightly.

Moonglow has always been a good friend and ally against the tyranny of the Protectoate and the loyalist vermin that blindingly rally to them like the mindless creatures they are.

As you, I have also always held Moonglow in the highest regards, and I’m sure as friends and responsible leaders we can sit down and resolve this matter. I would also ask that Matt Odin of the Triad come to this meeting, he has assured me he is innocent of all charges, and I feel he can convince you of the same.

Keep those ales chilled and let me know when we can meet to talk of this.
