If I had more time, I'd paint it with food colouring and detail it more with marzipan, but I just can't get it done. The cake goes with my brother and his friends tonight.

It's shaped after a ziggurat from WoW, it's a late birthday cake for my brother and is celebrating the latest WoW expansion which him and his friends (and me later) are camping the midnight release for.

I dub it... BATTENSCOURGE, Wrath of the Lich Cake!

What you don't see is the inside is hollow and modelled after the inside of a ziggurat, complete with green plague pools made out of lime jello. I'll see if my brother can take a pic of it when it's cut.

Ooo, that is so cool. I love marzipan. When I was a little kid many many many years ago, my grandfather, who lived in Germany, would send us a big box of chocolates from his chocolate store, and I would always get the marzipan bar coated in chocolate. I love Christmas time with all the cookies, and breads, and candy.

Haha, I can start whenever. I just ask that the shipping and materials are paid for. I'm a poor student and if everyone wants marzipan chocolates, the cost will start to add up pretty fast. If there's lots of interest I'll put together a price thing. I should start looking into buying ground almonds bulk it sounds, it costs $3-4 per cup alone :/
