Yasa had been quietly sitting in her office, when the door was kicked open, her faithful tailor Wynn holding a needle like a dagger, lunging, attacking her. Yasa stood quickly, a small paralysis spell spilling from her lips before she could think. She stared at her employee, and saw the hate in her eyes. Yasa backed away, unwilling to lose someone so valued when she was grabbed from behind, the new weaver wrapped his arm around her neck, choking her. Yasa frantically kicked, as her hand reached something white and round on her desk. With little thought, she threw it on the ground. As the cloud of smoke grew, the arm around her slackened, and she ran out, her body conforming to the shadows.

What she saw outside filled her heart with horror. Everywhere one looked, there were flying warriors, attacking those who tried to flee. She watches as person after person was slaughtered under their winged attack, spells flying left and right at the fleeing citizens. She turned back, seeing her employees chasing her. With a small Kal Vas Flam, She watched as her weaver fell to her power. She turned just in time to see the knife coming towards her, Wynn swore at her as she missed, and Yasa’s only thought was to disarm her. The knife flew from her hands, when a shriek was torn from Wynn’s mouth. The winged one came at her, killing her instantly. Yasamin saw the winged one come towards her. She ran the opposite way, to the tailor room, now empty and full of smoke, and closed the door behind her with a hard slam.

Breathing hard, she went to the ground, crawling into the shadows as she gathered her armor. She looked out the window, seeing the feathers of one of the monsters floating down. She crawled to the door, and opened it, embracing the shadows of Moonglow, and walked carefully towards the bank, and the safety of the militia, looking back but once to see the monster fly over her faithful Wynn into the empty room, searching for her.
