Unobliterated anger and rage spread like an ice cloud from Merci. The man shivered, and well he should... Her blade plunged into his gut twisting and as was the beauty of a Kryss, causing more damage upon removal than entry.

Jaggedly spilling his intestines thru the enlarged hole he crackled as the chill washed over him. His body hardening his face twisted in agony frozen in his moment of horror. He had been attacked for no reason, it appeared, by this female. Bearing down on him viciously with the anger of a pack of wolves in her wake..

This was the key.....

She had been following the man and he had been the wrong one, her mistake causing her an angry flood of emotion. Emotion that had been stuffed away since Ceinwyns departure.

Resurrected by the sight of the Matriarch's ghost , Merci had lost all control upon a single thought...

Ceinwyn had not found peace, there were dark shadows afoot and she intended to root out the hidden enemy if it took the killing of a thousand Non- Umbrans...

Or perhaps there was just one Umbran whose treasonous speech was starting to make sense in a very wicked game...

She prayed for Sy-whens sake this was not true. The woman would suffer a thousand deaths but be granted none...

The Lady of War turned her horse back to umbra, a veil of ice following in her angry wake.....
