Perched precariously on the precipice of the paled stone of British's conservatory, the skull masked figure simply deemed "Nh'bdy" stands, his cloak obscuring all but his Mask. His head is perked to gaze down slightly, watching the Westerners go about their day, unaware of the intent gaze from above.
Pushing out from the cloak, setting his boot on the ledge, his elbow on the raised knee, he watches. For a very long moment, even the wind seems silent, the absence of noise is broken by a slight rustle, then another and yet another. Wicker baskets containing bright read rose petals hit the ground, their contents littering the stones.
The small stir is suddenly shattered by a sound kin to that of a flag during a windy day, that is until the very loud thud of impact. The never-troubled brow of the still porcelain smile glanced back at the building, then suddenly down to a small dirty child of no more than five.
Ahh, stay beautiful dear city, I shall return soon enough.
Suddenly looking forward again, Nh'bdy judges the next distance, and with a slight run, clears the gap between roofs, making it to the sewers, he suddenly vanishes over the Cypress's Bridge and into the woods, a trail of Purple Rose Petals in his wake. _________________ Work in Progress.
