Just before Sunrise Ronin stood at the hidden crypt that held the blood drained remains of Lord Marius, as he stood there he could not help but wonder if Marius had made the right decision to rest for a thousand years and would he be able to continue the legacy that he had started, but Ronin was a soldier, he always carried out his orders no matter what they might be, but the task at hand would be by far the hardest mission he would ever have to perform.

Ronin left the crypt, making sure it was secure and made his way to the house that was once the resting place of his master, mentor and long time friend. As he reached the house he went to the large table upstairs, the place where they all met, he looked around at the empty chairs, a table that he would now sit at the head of, he then closed his eyes, reaching out his thoughts to the High Council; My friends we have so very much to do and I will need you now more than ever but the mourning sun is close and now it is time to rest. Rest well for tomorrow brings a new day.

Skatha pauses in her work, the thoughts of Ronin are beginning to take shape in her mind. Only in times of intense emotion do his thoughts come to her. So, she listens. Such sadness.

Hundreds of memories create chaos as they collide mid-thought, each wishing it's own recognition before the new dawn. She is weakened with grief; strengthened with resolve that these memories not be lost, and that they be recorded along with things yet to be, in order that Lord Marius may know them when he awakens.

Skatha renews her personal commitment to her clan and to the soldier who now leads them. Weary, she dips a quill into the ink and begins to make a list of things to be done. She pauses, realizing her world has changed once again.

Skatha bows her head, resting it on the table, and as she weeps, the quill begins to write it's own story.

So quiet the night was. Unusually silent as the Dark Princess rose from her coffin. Something was amiss and yet...she couldn't put her finger on it.
She summoned her faithful stallion Barra, and rode off to check the homes of her fellow clanmates. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw that several of them had changed hands. She spun Barra and rode hard toward the tavern....
It was then that Ronin's thoughts reached her. Ronin!? Something had happened to Lord Marius. She pulled Barra to a stop and let Ronin's thoughts in, listening to them carefully.
She bowed her head with a soft smile and responded in silence...Fear not Lord Ronin. I will stand at your side loyally. Ask of me what you will and I shall do my best to answer. Until the night comes...Rest well....My Friend.
She urged Barra home then leaving him to graze outside as the new day dawned. So there had been a change indeed...Kelly Darkhaven slipped into her coffin with a sweet smile upon her lips.
