Your Grace,

Upon my return after a brief but refreshing retreat after the election of His Majesty, Isk of Magincia as my successor I now feel that the time appropriate for the long agreed matrimonial union between the adopted daughter of your King and my close friend, Baroness Ivory Skyfire, to be completed and all terms of this union realized. All exchanged and decisions related to this union had been pre-arranged with The King prior to his departure as The Baroness can attest to, never the less, I shall state them clearly here for your convenience.

As agreed between His Majesty, Talon Skyfire King of Sanctus and Stormhaven and His Majesty, Adrien Garnier Regent-Emeritus, Steward of Britain and Governor of Nujel’m Lord Garnier is to wed Baroness Ivory Starfire at a time of their choice.

For His Majesty, Talon Skyfire

-The land known as “The Kingdom of Stormhaven” under the controlled territories of the Britainnian Protectorate shall be ceded to the Kingdom of Sanctus. *ratified by the Grand Council of the Britannian Protectorate March 2008*

-Baroness Skyfire is to immediately receive citizenship within the Britainnian Protectorate and her holdings and shall be granted the title ”Duchess of Britain and Nujel’m”

-Any male child produced by the Baroness and Lord Garnier is to be raised under the code of the Paladin and shall, remain in Sanctus under the protection of the King and The House M’real for a period of three years in order to be formally recognized as a legitimate member of House Skyfire.

For His Majesty, Adrien Garnier

-The Governor-Regent Emeritus is to receive full citizenship within the Kingdom of Sanctus.

-The Governor-Regent Emeritus shall, upon the stroke of midnight of his first eve wed to Baroness Skyfire be granted the rights, privileges and honors of a member of the House Skyfire pending he agrees to the following:

I.Waive any claim to the Throne of Sanctus for himself or any of his children so long as a suitable heir from The House Skyfire, The House M’real or another person or persons the Kingdom of Sanctus deems fit to take the throne may live.

II. Waive any claim to have the authority or ability to command, rule-over or govern the people of Sanctus in any way unless given such power at the discretion of the King of Sanctus, or Sanctan Leadership.


*Let it be known that if either party fails to deliver on promises rendered at any time, this contract is considered nullified.*

As you can see Your Grace, a rather straightforward document. In the absence of the King I would be so bold as to ask you to act in his place alongside His Majesty, Isk for the wedding itself.

Honorable Regent-Emeritus Garnier,

I accept on behalf of my King and in his stead shall do my duty to both the throne which I Steward over and to my long time close friend Ivory. I am honored in your proposal and would honestly not miss it for the world. Please send me word of a date and time as well as a time line of events so that I may arrange for my Guard and my own personal time. Your agreement is legal and binding in this kingdom and shall be enforced under my reign as the King is perusing the Vile Darrian Church. Thank you again and I look forward to the additional information requested.
