Here is my situation:

A few choice roleplayers in this community are making the statement that all the Realm of Umbra guild does is cyber.

This statement is so fracking far from the truth. I am seeing red from this. Livid. I respectfully request it stop.

There are a few reasons I am so pissed off.

One. I have put a lot of fracking hard work into this guild. So have all of my members. To hear this from new members to our community/shard is unbelievable. To whoever is spreading these remarks.. frack YOU. We contribute a fair percentage of community events to this community. None of those was a public orgy/cyber fest.

Two. This remark is being said as if to condemn us for cybering. The act of cybering itself is not a bad or immoral thing. So STFU.

Three. It is being said as if Umbra is the only guild that has members who do cyber. As if. We all know, or do now, that 85-90% of the total RP community cybers. Think I'm exaggerating? You wouldn't believe it. So to single Umbra out for this makes you look stupid. Keep that in mind.

Four. We do have members that cyber, and that is their business. I highly doubt the persons spreading these remarks though has ever seen cyber involving an Umbran taking place. And in the odd chance if you did.. it's wrong of you to speak about such an act and have no respect for other people's privacy.

Five. Many people in Umbra do not cyber, for whatever given reason. Again, it is none of anyone's business but their own.

Six. There is a reason for the age restriction of Umbra. 18. Due to occasional graphic violence and occasional strong sexual situations.

I will defend to the death the right of mature grown people to cyber. People have their own reasons about why they do or don't. It's noone else's business but their own. Everyone needs to fracking respect that choice and move on.

Read my essay, cyberphobes. Open your tiny brain a little bit. Sorry if I offended any puritans with this post, but it needed saying. People need to know it is not wrong to cyber. It is no more wrong to cyber than it is for a romance author to write romance novels. Don't like cyber? That's just fine.. don't do it. But don't condemn other people because they don't live by your own personal code of ethics.

Here is my essay, you don't have to read it, but I suggest you do before you criticize and condemn and make blanket generalizations about the majority of the people you are roleplaying alongside. This is a long overdue post.

Edit: To my knowledge, not much was contributed to the community until CAP decided to start active RP on the shard.
Edit: And if people are cybering and they are actually a couple, why don't they do it in real life?

I never understood the fascination some people have with the way other people play the game. As I've said before, the community would be a lot better if people stopped worrying about how other people spend their time, and instead work on improving their own time.

Side note...

If you wanna cyber, then you cyber, if not, then you don't.... its your 14 dollars a month, and last I checked this server was still on american soil....
