The man stood staring at Jon Strathmore his face terribly frightened. Jon already suffering the loss of his colleague, Agatha, he turned angrily. Metal spikes shot from his hands into the mans body pinning him into the wall.
The true monster that was Jon Strathmore emerged. Blood gushed from the spiked man and he watched as the spikes had purposely been placed so as not to kill him right off. The man hung dying grimly. Nightshade Strathmore you are ruined I shall have you for the pain you have caused me today! He uttered a curse bonding it upon the dying mans soul. He hoped she shuddered in her peace....
The house shook with the fury of a storm and he knew the heavens had just opened up their anger upon him. He could hear chanting in his mind and he knew more than he wanted, he could see the scene unfold all the green hair. The dagger in Eva's heart. Masses of the black winged creatures flew outside his window an apocalypse of them.
The sign of the Gryfiths, he bitterly scowled as he looked down at the letter in his hand. How weak he had been.
Dear Eva,
Come home, whatever issues are between us can be resolved. I miss the shine of your soft green hair and the sparkle in your eyes. It has been years. I can explain it all...
Jon..
It all mattered not now she was gone...how he longed for her back.. _________________ Something is Wrong, I can still feel Existence... |

Time had faded, and the waxing and waning of the moon shifted with the sands to fall.
Aggie stood by his side, no longer the women who had died, yet with him still, this day. Silence hung over the two of them as little, there was, to be said. The blank pitch of uneasiness always heavy, but content in so being.
"Agatha, I have a task to which I must attend... be sure to be done when I return."
The look she cast was common for her, disdainful, and idolizing, always hiding what she wished to say... Never allowing for what he would never admit.

The air was brisk in Umbra that eve, and blew with a deathly gust all too common, yet unsettling and uneven.
His head held high, in his usual way, he marched on toward the well, a mask hiding his features.
Even the mask could not sate his eyes at the sight before him, as they opened wide, surprise, and morbid satisfaction.
His heart leaped at the green hair billowing in the fabricated breeze of the Umbran moonlight. The frown on his face belied the mixture of his heart and only a single thought could cross his mind to his lips.
"Hello Eva..." |
