I've been learning how to use Blender and was practicing UV unwrapping and texturing last night on a base model, it's nothing special but Ekoth wanted to see it. I'll have something I've modeled myself up soon probably.

No, that's the Blender monkey :o

It's far more cute and awesome than your monkey.

blender is a modelling and texturing program. I dont think it actually makes scenes, does it, goona? Not sure on that one, too lazy to look it up. Razz Still on vacation.

As far as free 3d modelling programs go, ive heard good things about it

You can make scenes in it, if you go here you could check out the gallery, or the movies people have made using it. There are a LOT of tutorials for it, too. Even video tutorials. If you're interested in URLs or knowing more, just ask. I haven't posted my skull yet because I keep seeing more and more things I want to fix on it, but it's starting to look very good.

3ds max is the only program worth modeling. Daz i dont think models anything, but manipulates premade poser files.

Long story short, you all need to start making 3d models from the game im making right now.

heres a screen shot
