Yesterday at Brit Bank while I was trying to sell my 18x18 (please buy it?) I was approached by a player named "I STAND ALONE". Now there are probably people with different names trying something similar to this. This warning is to make sure you're always aware of what is going on.

He approached me and told me it was his nephews birthday. He'd love the house and would be home from school in a couple hours. He asked if I had any mage artis or a CC I could I sell too. Told me he owned the house just outside Luna blah blah.

I told him I'd throw in the CC and the house for "agreed price". I went to the house and marked him a rune. He asked if I wanted the checks in 6 sperate bags etc to make it easier. Asked what color the Crimson Cincture was and what have you. (All talk to make everything seem legit).

He recalled out to gather checks. In party he told me he had bad eye site and asked me to lock the CC on the patio before I sold. Immediately I used detect hidden and he was on the stairs right by the patio. He rehid and I did it again, then put the house access to "Private" and locked it down.

In party I said "There ya go bud." He didnt reply Razz I told him it was a solid effort and taker easy. He said "lol later!" and left.

When selling a house or ANY item..if the offer seems to good to be true, it usually is. Be aware and becareful.

Back when I was a thief, one of the most awesome "scams" that happened to me was someone TAKING ME to their house so they could get the fur that I wanted to buy from them. They took me inside and unlocked it off the ground right in front of me. Being a master at serverup rare grabbing, I was pretty damn fast at grabbing things. I recently found that fur in my bank too, I thought I lost it once Kryphon let my house fall!

The moral of the story is, don't be a tard. There's no reason to put items on the ground when there's a trade window, ESPECIALLY since house transfer has a trade window.

Hahah, remember the days when house transfers brought up a scroll graphic instead of a glacial deed graphic? People would "sell" houses they didn't even known by throwing scrolls into the trade window. Seriously, as long as you're not a tard you probably won't be scammed.
