It was time, Admoreth and Vrae’il knew now what they must find to reveal the locations of the five ancient artifacts required to summon the first Lich Lord. A call was quickly sent out to all available Seekers and they rallied in a back ally within the city of Umbra. The Seekers present were Vrae’il, Admoreth, Kuja and Entulesse. Kuja and Entulesse were quickly informed of what had to be done and a portal was created to the ruined city of Caina.

Kuja having taken up residence within the ancient City knew the locations well and quickly guided us to the remaining Shadowform Empire buildings and the Scholomance. The search began, an ancient book that cursed any who chose to view its pages was the item required for it was created by Lord Nizar himself to keep track of the five Artifacts of Oblivion.

Hours had passed and still the search turned up nothing. Vrae’ils mind had begun to wander and he was drawn to the Well of Souls. Nearing the Well however a force of Elves and members of Sanctus were spotted. After a brief conversation he realized they were not aware of the plan of the Seekers and left them be. As the Seekers and the Lightbringers parted company, something was mentioned of a Church being formed near Caina but it did not concern the Seekers much, as these lands would be abandoned for the most part after the ritual had occurred.

The search had revealed nothing within the Shadowform buildings and thus they focused their efforts on the Scholomance. So much ancient knowledge was contained here however that their efforts seemed futile. Something grabbed Kujas attention however and a stairwell was revealed under a mountain of discarded furniture. Kuja quickly followed the stairs and within minutes had called out that he had found the ancient tome that they were searching for.

Each Seeker then read through the book, ignoring the warning of the curse for the most part. The rebirth of the first Lich Lord was nearing.
