They're nothing short of genius as far as design goes, really. Not liking bullpups should be a federal offense. _________________

But does he say the same thing when you show him Walter's picture? _________________ "He's been fired from the Shrimp Boat?" -- Charlaine Harris "Living Dead In Dallas." |

I think the only thing I don't like about it is the name. but, I'm a cat person haha.
Very nice art. I like the detail you put into it, and the shading/coloring. ^_^ You did very nice straight lines. |

Awesome design! I am not a fan of the clip location.
I will say Bullpup is the best gun design I've ever seen. _________________

Well, for this particular bullpup design, the clip actually has to go there(which, I agree, is a pain). The overall goal of a bullpup is to get the power and range of a long rifle condensed into a small rifle. I'd say Carbine, but more often than not the bullpup is smaller than a carbine. So to accomplish this, the barrel starts closer to the butt of the firearm. As a product of this, the action and sometimes the feeding mechanism is much further back than most traditional firearms. _________________

Which is, as you said, ingenious. |

No wonder you can draw guns well, you know a lot about them and can explain what each detail in the drawing is. Reading your explanation of how it works made me go back up and study how the gun is put together, it is badass.
I like the texturing and detailing too, there's not a bland part on the gun. |

I'm excited to see if this gun functions as claimed:

If so, the only word to describe it is sick...
As far as the bullpups go, yes, the design is ingenious, however, many people who have held them will tell you, to our American hands that are more used to a different balance in rifles/carbines, the balance on a bullpup feels off. Think of it this way, you are taking all of the weight of the action, loaded magazine and stock and throwing them all into the rear of the gun, and taking the only thing that might counter that weight, the barrel, and pushing it to the mid of the gun. So, keeping it rediculously tight in your shoulder is not just normal practice, it is absolutely essential. Otherwise the weight of the stock tries to drag the rear down, adding that front lift to the front of the gun that is already experiencing lift from the recoil of the round, accuracy nightmare.
Also, as a further note, with today's usage of more electronic sights, it isn't as big a deal, however, a bullpup with iron sights is inherently less accurate than a standard configuration rifle with iron sights because of the simple fact that there is not as much distance between the front and rear sight.
All that being said, my current favorite toy is my converted, custom Saiga 308. Pics to come whenever I find my camera. _________________ Honor is the sword I wield...
