Relations with Moonglow: A Pamphlet

I. Preamble

The purpose of this brief document is to clarify and inform all and any on the status of the sovereign nation of Moonglow, based on Verity Island, in relation to the Allies and Loyalists of the Britannian Protectorate. The Governor-Regent wishes to express his esteem for the citizens of the city of Moonglow, and his continual thanks for the great philosophical and academic contributions their academics have made to the realm in the history of Sosaria.


II. Neutral Status

After a nearly unanimous recommendation of the Protectorate’s Grand-Parliament, His Majesty, Governor-Regent Adrien Garnier has obliged the council, and decided it in the best interests of peace and world relations to dissolve it’s military alliance with the nation of Moonglow.

The nation of Moonglow has been shifted to “neutral status” this meaning that there exists no obligation between either party to aid one another, to support one another and to consult one another on any matter, from hence forth.

III. Further Action

Given the nature of Moonglow’s current threat of daemonic invasion, the Governor-Regent strongly encourages any and all who were assisting Moonglow, in regards to supplies or manpower to continue doing so as long as the Moonglow Town Council wishes to receive such aid.

It is the Governor-Regent’s strongest belief that the needs of the citizen transcend all politics, the Governor-Regent does not feel that the citizens of Moonglow and the inhabitants of Verity Island need suffer in anyway due to any diplomatic shifts in the world climate.

The Governor-Regent equally wishes to express to all loyalists that there exists no cause for hostility open or otherwise unless provoked by an act of violence by the town council, which at the time of this publication there has not been.

IV. Conclusion

The Governor-Regent remains open to future relations with the nation of Moonglow, and continues to hope that between civilized nations and people there will forever exist a peaceful, and constructive bond that unites all of the virtuous that will allow them to work for a world-wide Sosarian Peace, and the defense of what is just, moral, and sacred.
