My love,
Over the next two days, I will be operating in Moonglow overlooking a potentially lethal experiment. The experiment deals with blackrock, which, in itself, is very powerful, and extremely unstable. All precautions that can be taken, have been taken, but I'm writing to you to inform you that I will not be coming home in the next few days to come.
I cannot stress enough that this is a potentially dangerous experiment, and ask that you please stay away from Moonglow. Knowing you, you are rolling your eyes right now, and just about ready to pack your things and head to Moonglow. Don't. I cannot stress this enough.
I love you. And I will always be with you.
All my heart,
Vaen

Vaen,
My love you know me well and as you stated I sit here rolling my eyes thinking of how much i DONT want to sit here alone and wonder what is going on. However I will head your warning and will stay at home and try to lose my thoughts in preparing our new home.... if you should however at some point decide I am safe enough to at least come see you please of course send me word ... you know I have never been good at sitting still.
Please be careful and remember you better come home safe and sound... I will tolerate nothing less than that!
All my love

Brianha.
Last night's experiment was a flop. Kronos, the mage behind the whole experiment, told us to come back later this eve. Some of the gathered people who had previously experimented with blackrock, claimed to have heard someone say "MAKE IT STOP!" Fortunately, I have never tampered with the substance, so I've not heard such voices.
Today, however, something peculiar is going on. The detector is constantly being struck by lightning. Sometimes even six bolts at a time. All we can do is watch, and wait to hear from the mage Kronos later this eve, at around nine.
Brianha. Even I'm scared...
Your's,
Vaen

Brianha read the quick note with concern on her face. Writing a quick response and hoping he would get back to her in time she wrote.
My love,
If you are scared then I too worry greatly for what is to come. I can not bear the thought that something may happen to you and there is little I can do. I havent seen you for days and I fear I will not be so patient with your warning after reading your last message. What is it I should do? Do you want me with you? Please send word... I worry greatly now.
Yours always

Bri,
Kronos is set to arrive here in an hour and thirty minutes, where the next phase of his experiment will begin. Everyone is on edge as they peer into the fences area, glancing at the detector. We aren't sure if it is operating as intended, or if it is overloading, or what. Needless to say, it's getting panicky here.
Still, however, I ask that you remain safe at home. Or, if that is driving you crazy, we have arranged for some of the refugees of Moonglow to stay in Vesper, Felucca. You, too, can go there, and perhaps help some of the refugees in any way you can.
Just do something to keep you occupied.
Love,
Vaen

Throwing herself heavily back into the chair behind her she let out a large sigh closing her eyes and thinking of how much this was going to test her fortitude. Then she sat forward and on her lap wrote a response hoping she would see him sometime this night in some way.
Vaen,
I will go to Vesper Fel and aid in any way I can. Please be safe this eve and come to me as soon as you are able... I will be on edge until I see you and know of your safety. If you can please keep as much distance between yourself and this experiment as you can. I will be thinking of you my love.
Yours forever,
Bri |
