Dear Aunt Toni,

I remain unsure of the happenings between my father and yourself, though I do know that things within the family have been stirred. I apologize for whatever it was that happened.

On other news, I will reveal the reasoning for my absence, as I have not been to visit in sometime. My parents have forbidden from leaving the house without them or a guard of sorts. I would like to let you know that you are going to be a Great Aunt. The children are due soon, and eventually, I would like to bring them to meet you.

Be well,

Sincerely,
Zari MelGair.

She smiled as she read the letter. It had been sometime since she had spoken with her niece.

Pulling out a quill and parchment she began to write....

Zari,

It is good to hear of the news. Congratulations are in order. There is no more joy than what a child can bring into your home. I do hope you are taking good care of yourself during this delicate time. I do agree with your parents on keeping you protected during this time. I am sure your parents have discussed ....issues...with you. I can't wait to meet the children.

As far as what has transpired between your father and I, it is a delicate issue for me, not one I wish to discuss at this time, but perhaps maybe in the future.

You rest well, for once the children arrive that will be limited.

Sincerely your aunt,
Toni McStravick

Rolling the parchment tightly she dripped wax from her candle over the seam and bound it with ribbons of black and gold.

"Ayana...." The woman arrived quickly at the door. "Ayana, see that you retrieve the messenger who delivered the letter a short while ago and see that he returns this response" She handed the rolled parchment to her.

Nodding, Ayana hastened out the door.
