Varrius spoke his message to the wisp slowly and a bit shakily. He had so much difficulty believing what he was doing was real... And all he had known was melting away.

Rather theatrical means of communication. I am always available at the palace of Nujel'm to speak with the citizen. Simply write several hours before your arrival to ensure I am available.
