Zelma glanced to the window, looking out on the twilight sky. The hours had faded away to a bliss of purples, yellows and blues, just before the night would findally settle down, enveloping the world in black. Her tasks for the day were done, errands had been ran. The quiet sanctity of the small library where she sat working one of her crafts was peaceful.

Her bright, light blue eyes surveyed the room, looking from book to book. There was something she wanted to know... Something she couldn't understand.

The rows of books in the library seemed to go on and on, as she walked, her slender fingers running along the spine of each one, glancing over it as she looked for something that would give her insight. They were not the books from back home, these were filled with beasts, and dragons, and more, things that had always been nothing but fiction back home.

Yet, here she knew they were not fiction, the beasts walked the world of Midgar. Her hand stopped on a book, one that have seemed....enlightening. She hoped, as she pulled it from the shelf, that it would help her understand.

Taking it she wandered back to her seat, tossing her knitting aside. Opening the book, she searched. She was searching for something she'd seen...A human turn into a wolf, and then back again.

"Vhat are zey?" she said softly, as she flipped through the pages of the book, finding finally, something familiar.

"Ze lyzanthrope?" she said, sounding the strange word out, as she looked at the picture there.

"Zat vas vhat ze proclamation vaz about.." the color drained from her face as she read on in the book. That was what they were?
