Emissary Aless,

Just writing to you to say that you did a wonderful job last night. I do however have an apology to make. When we spoke with Adrien about a dinner on Monday night, I had just that in mind, a dinner. I did not know we were going to turn into a daycare center for Adrien's children in Sanctus. We will be better prepared next time.

Continue on with the meetings with Molly and Moonglow. I know that those dinners will be much more pleasant, as we'll be dealing with respectable people all the way around the table.

Continue your excellent work. Northland thanks you.

Alessandra looked up from her reading when a messanger laid a letter upon her desk. Unsure whom would be writing, she carefully opened the letter and started reading. The messenger gave Aless a strange look when she burst into laughter at one point, but Aless only shook her head and asked the messenger to wait while she quickly penned a note back to Vaen...



Vaen,

Apologies are not needed my friend, we must always be on our toes and be prepared for anything that comes our way. I am the one that must apologize, as I was not feeling myself last night and I could not think clearly and let my toungue fly before my brain had a chance to think about it.

We will continue as you suggested with the other dinners, but I would like to request Brianha's help with the next dinner. She has always been a good planner and is very good at making people feel comfortable around her.

She sealed the letter and handed it back to the messenger to deliver back to Vaen. True, the dinner last evening had its share of surprises, but all in all it turned out for the better, now everyone knew where everyone else truly stood. They appeared to have a united front, but Aless wondered how united they truly were....
