After collapsing in her bed Brianha thought back on the night. She was overwhelmed with so many emotions and it was hard to sort through them all.

Her intention as always was to watch from a distance to just see him and be near him. She had that at least. Tonight was no different in the busy tavern in Moonglow, busy enough to hide at a distance. However after having pleasant conversation with a man of his guild by the name of Jarem on the rooftop garden, Vaen had come up and she wanted so badly to bolt. It was impossible to leave with the amount of people near the exit including Vaen so she kept her head lowered and under her hood. Eventually though he had made his way over to his comrade and asked to be introduced. Not knowing what to do and not wanting to upset Vaen by revealing who she was, she excused herself in a hurry to Jarem and left.

Not wanting to draw suspicion she walked instead of giving in to the want to run. Only making it to a field nearby she felt safe that no one would follow and leaned against the fence nervous at how close she had come to him. It had been so long since she gazed into his eyes.

Not much longer after she heard a horse gallop by and turned only to see him right there in front of her again. She could feel the air in her lungs trapped, she could not move.
“Bri… is it really you?”
nodding unsteadily with tears she nodded her head
“Vaen” she said shakily
He then dismounted and they embraced in a hug. She felt her legs give way and had he not been holding her she would have fallen. She could feel him, touch him… and it was all so surreal to her.

In her ear he softly spoke to her
“We have much to work through”
nodding Bri didn’t care what they needed to work through, she could no longer leave half her soul behind.
