Dav stood on a ridge overlooking the forest outside of the gate of Spirituality. The pixies fluttered about innocently, unknowing of trouble that would soon befall them. The past few days had been trying on the family Skyfire. Caia had broken her leg, which was mending well, but the problem that had befallen Dragan..Davaran's mind repeated an exert from the tome he had consulted in the past...

Lycanthropy, hemotoxin, a disease transmitted from an infected person, causing violent animal transformations...known cures : none

A twig snapped under worn pads, the sun was just begging to peak above the horizon when a flash of movement followed by muttered words disrupted the pixie's dance. The sky darkened for a moment around them, each attempting to flutter away from the mass of dark cloth that had made it's way into the ring. A gloved hand raised into the air then striking the ground. Lightning flash down into the pixie's small bodies falling limp the the ground.

Dav stood sighing, if it had not been for the direness of the situation, he would have found some way around this deed, but it was for his son, for his family. The glint of cold steel shimmered in the early morning light.
