Thrax's daily journey into the township reminded him that a lot of work still needed to be done in Yew. Already several merchants had visited him in Alderglen to ask for monetary help in refurbishing their shops and obtaining new stocks of supplies. This he did gladly.

He spoke to a scribe at the Abbey, who welcomed him and was glad to add a copy of his book to the library there.

As was customary, he stopped by the Winery to purchase several cases of Yew wine, his stocks having been depleted by the care for which he had provided the refugees, and also a certain ship captain.

He made rounds of the merchants' shops, and when one told him of an abusive, abrasive, man who had injured him, he paid for his medical bill.

Thrax noted with dismay that the factions continued to fight for control of the town, and that it might never be entirely free of their raids and depradations.

Along the way he stumbled upon a corpse and realized that much still remained to do if Yew was to earn its peace and freedom from bandits and cutthroats.
