*A courier has delivered the following letter to Regent Ramses at his palace*

"Your Majesty,

I issued a challenge to Sid to contest the right to govern Yew and he has refused. I will, therefore, no longer deal with him in any capacity. Since he is, and has been, a thorough non-entity in the town for years, I am assuming my rightful place as its King as I should have been all along.

I petition the court to formally recognize my legitimate claim and to make it public by an official coronation.

Once I have been crowned, my first act will be to re-establish the Yew Commonwealth and nominate myself as its first Prime Minister. I will then abolish the false aristocracy that engendered the current Kingship and place Yew under the protection of the Regency and whomever else is willing to defend its freedom. To seal it, I shall then abdicate.

This is the only way I can see Yew prosper and to ultimately be wrested from the clutches of an aristocracy that never did care for the town, but seemed to think it belonged to them by rights of having defended it ages ago. My sister assumed the crown by force and now one of her former officers, Sid, seeks to retain it by force, having, I believe, manipulated her while she suffered a terrible madness.

The time for their feudalistic policies is past. Yew shall be a Commonwealth once more, with your help.

Please consider my request. I will speak more of it to you and the members of the Court very soon.
