I am aware that you are master of Minoc, and am given to understand that you are, or were, a member of Dark Order and the Armunn Empire which is at war with the Britannian Protectorate.

While sending military forces to aid you is not within my present means, I am, however, very able and desirous of sending a ship laden with supplies for you and your forces.

I am presently collecting these supplies and have hired a ship to deliver them. The journey from Thraxstadt to Minoc is not far and should not take long. Escort will not be necessary, though safe passage and security unloading them when they arrive would be most appreciated.

If you care to receive these supplies, please reply to me. I will submit a cargo manifest and the rest of the details at that time.

Trade was always important to the city of Minoc, as it is rich in precious minerals. And I would be more than happy to open up trade routes with Thraxstadt.

I am pleased that you have graciously accepted my offer. The ship bringing the goods is named "The Black Prince" and is piloted by one Captain Rotten (pronounced, 'RO-then.' I believe his mother, if he had one, did not know how to spell, or else he just likes correcting people about his name).

The manifest includes fresh petals (both kinds), enhanced bandages, full potion kegs, enchanted fruit, and some fine Papuan tea.

I will send word in advance of the ship sailing to make sure you are ready to receive it. All will be ready within a couple of days.

The ship sails today, at evening, at the appearance of the 9th eastern star. I believe it will get there within the hour if sailing weather is favorable.

Please excuse any of Captain Rotten's sordid behavior. He has been staying in Thraxstadt and has managed to drink almost every intoxicating beverage we have available (though I kept the Yew wine out of his grasp, naturally), and has made unseemly moves on several womenfolk here in Thraxstadt. I have reprimanded him, but I doubt it will do any good once he is out of my sight.

I wish I had a better ship and captain, but his outfit (Black Crow Privateers) is the most reliable I have found. They ask no questions about cargo and never fail to make shipments on time and by the book. He may be appear drunk, which he likely will be, and will no doubt wish to stay over to visit some local pub and/or brothel. I will reimburse you for any damages or rule infractions he may cause, within reason, of course.

I continue to avidly support the War of Feluccan Freedom that you and your associates fight for us.
