Jack strolled down the muddy path towards Umbra, the slightly squish under his Cu's almost comdorting. It was late, so late that the air was still, save for the wisp of steam and smoke that slowly drifted up and into the heavens as the borrower made his way back to familiar territory. Weeks, maybe months, had passed while Jack was embraced fully by the shadows ..learning .. watching, but an old voice had brought him back.

"I left something in Umbra..buried behind my house, I want you to dig it up for me. This you owe us."

Jack has obliged, picking up his gear and charting course for the Realm. Halfway, the sky had opened up, bathing the deed in a charming downpour.
Jack stopped, commenting, "Fitting."

The deed had taken no more than four drives of the shovel, the thick Umbran clay-mud giving way to an ancient, or at least aged, gift box, Jack reached down taking it in his hands. Bringing the box close he awaiting the tale tell stench of decay. Lifting the lit the glint and shimmer of a valuable sat near what looked like a lock of hair.

"ooh, a tip, how nice of you Zeth"

Jack instinctivly brought the coin to his mouth, ready to check for validation of it's worth before pausing. His mind comment in a low sarcastic voice, "Probably not Jack."

Shrugging he tosses it back in and made for the road, box in hand, like some sort of demonic delivery man, as he walked he passed a weary traveler, obviously starved for human contact.

"What's that you have M'lord?"

"Just a late package, seems the Melgairs forgot it in the moove"

Jack cackled, obviously the spend in the void had left a little to be desired in the way of conversational eloquence.
