Amy stood on the front porch and sighed softly,it had been days since King had left to help in the fight that was taking place in Yew.

"Staring off into the distance will not make him return faster Amy...,"Tamara said as she shifted into her human form and moved to stand by the young elf.

"Perhaps not but I miss him terribly...we've never been away from each other..,"she said as Tamara patted her arm gently,"it does get easier..perhaps sending a messenger to him may help...it helps me when I am away from Richard..,"she said as Amy looked up to her and nodded.

"Very good I will send for a messenger...go inside and prepare the letter...,"Tamara said as Amy nodded quietly and moved inside,her heart racing as she moved into Richard's small study.

Sitting down at his desk she picked up the quill then slid a piece of parchment from under the letter opener and began to write,her hand moving quickly but gracefully.

"Amy...the messenger will be here soon...,"Tamara called from the courtyard...,"thank you Tamara...,"Amy said as she finished the letter then quickly sealed it with the mark of the Sidhe family. Standing up she moved back outside just as the messenger approached her,"see that this gets to King Sidhe...place it directly into his hands ...no one elses..,"she said as she reached into her pouch and pulled out several gold coins,"for your troubles..,"she said as the messenger bowed then turned,leaving the two women alone.

"Remeber Amy...being separated from one's love is part of the cost of war...,"Tamara said as she turned and moved inside.
