As you all know, I truly love being an evil character. But my new position in the Protectorate has led me to a real conflict of interests being too crucially involved in all sides of the I.C. world. I also know that it's been brought up that this conflict of interests, being so "in-the-know" is just really difficult to manage in terms of keeping stories straight and keeping intentions pure.
As the GMs of the Dark Order alliance and the Protectorate can attest to, I have paid pain-staking attention to ensuring my character's individual knowledge of both sides of the coin did not cross and effect the game-play experience.
The Britannian Protetorate project in my mind exists as an attempt to bring all sides of RP be they good, evil or neutral together for healthy and enjoyable interaction as friend, allies, enemies or whatever other senarios the community can dream up. The fact that people have a shadow of a doubt that drama, metagaming or Godmoding may take place and hinder something that thus far has led to role-play everyone on all sides has emphatically enjoyed means it deserves my immediate attention.
And so, I'll no longer be role-playing my primary character of Darrien Church at least for the duration of my involvement in the Britannian Protectorate despite my love for the "evil" side of role-play, the lore and the character.
In any event...the OES museum is still being worked on and will be open to the public soon and DMA (Dar Mournas Aloak) is still recruiting and going strong in-game under the leadership of Azunda.

I agree completely. You know what he got out of being Tyran's apprentice? How to use the souls of the living to make his hair pretty. |
