People of Verity Isle

I write to you today to inform you of some recent developments on the island. Earlier today I met with Tarothin Armunn. We discussed many issues that were in need of taking care of. I will not go into many details, just a summary of what was agreed upon.

Moonglow and the Armunn Empire have come to a truce. In return for not moving on Moonglow held lands on the dark side of the realm, Moonglow will not step into battle against the Armunn Empire on any advances they make on other cities and lands on the dark side of the realm.

We will also be looking into trade routes with mainland.

This will not make us a crowd favorite within the Protectorate, but as the Regent will have to understand, Moonglow is its own entity, thusly, we must do what is best for our people. I hope you all understand the situation and accept the results. They are what is in the best interest of Verity and her people.

Thank you all for your time.

Semper Veritas!

A small scroll mysteriously appears on the mayor's desk with a small blue bow.

Dearest Mayor Samon whom I am really upset with!,

Thank you for informing us of this with flyers. Let me tell you how I adore my smithy shop being filled with messy flyers informing me that we are not going to war. As someone who sells swords and armor, let me say thank you. I was almost afraid people would buy my product. Also, did you know that eventually, those flyers fall? Yes, and when they do, they litter my floor!

Please be aware in the future, that I do not like my shop littered! If you have a flyer to put up, tell me and I will place it up where it is not an eyesore. Now, due to this notice, my poor smiths are not making swords or armor, since you put our people in such a lull of contentedness. Instead, they are sweeping the floor, removing nails, and throwing away trash! This is not good! Please be aware I shall make sure that the profit margin is noticed when giving Moonglow it's revenue at the end of the quarter! Mad

Thank you!
Yasamin Vedoun
The lady in charge of your smith shop.

PS, Another thing!!! Vargus keeps making me do patrols. That's just mean. Tell him we are at peace so I don't have to! HA!!
