I have made my report to the Regency Council. I would be glad to show you a copy of it at your convenience. I cannot say now what their attitude will be. I am certain that they have heard talk and reports from others and may be jaded by it. I can safely repeat what the Regent has stated as to our official, especially military, policy: Our sphere of influence extends only to Loyalists and their territories; we do not seek, nor have we ever sought, to create total hegemony over all the lands of Sosaria. Hence your efforts in Felucca are your own business as far as we are concerned.

I have also spoken to him of whom I spoke to you. He has agreed that I should act as you have stipulated. Once done, I pray we can move quickly into action.

When we meet next, I shall bring with me a gift commensurate with your standing that may be used to aid in the great undertaking we have discussed.

It pleases me that you have made your decision. We can act very soon. As far as the Regency report is concerned it matters not to me so there is no need to show me a copy.

It is indeed amusing how outside forces feel the need to think they can stop me from doing what I will do regardless. The new Protectorate for instance is one such entity.
