Knowing that Pol is going to be vexed with him for another night out in the taverns, Thomas played chess and exercised his mind at the opening last night instead of exercising his right arm for lifting the mugs. Pol would be pleasantly surprised to know he managed to display some temperance, some control. Being well rested, and clear headed, Thomas starts to complete his journal entries for the day

A Journal Entry - Truth

1. The greatest of faults, is to be conscious of none.

2. All change is not growth, as all movement is not forward.

3. Never throw mud. You may miss your mark, but you will have dirty hands.

4. To persevere, trusting in what hopes he has, is courage in a man.
