Within the recesses of the Tower of the Skull, The Lich Lord sat motionless within his throne room. His foresight had become like pieces on a chess-board as his machinations began to finally take shape. Nearly all of Britannia moved as the Lich Lord intended them too, good and evil had become but illusions.

Of course, this was what Darrien Church had done best in life. Manipulations, deceptions and subterfuge were the triune aspects of his personality that had allowed for his rise to power to begin with. In this new Britannia, they found their use again.

Suddenly it all began to come to him…

“Your efforts have been noted beyond the shroud Axaris…Your calls into the abyss for the denizens of the Dark Throne to aid you have not gone unheeded faithful one.” boomed a great multitude of voices tearing through the planar fabrics between Sosaria and Stygia.

Darrien began to hiss loudly as he recognized well the presence of someone he had not felt for some time.

“You shall aid us now in our return Lich Lord, Oblivion commands it you have foreseen this.” Continued the voices as The Lich Lord seemed to enter a trance-like state, muttering loudly in Stygian.

“And by what…rite or ritual do you wish the Lich Lord to make this so dearest brethren…” screeched Darrien slowly breaking into a heavy cackle as two symbols manifested on the empty pedestals on each side of the throne.

This was an unexpected blessing indeed for the Lich Lord as his plans were drawing closer to fruition, the convergence would be complete.

Soon his followers could step out into the open, and complete their sacred work.
