I have reflected long on the generous choice you have given me, of subservience to yourself or battle. In deference to our shared history under Baeleron, I know you have given me more time than any other. I fear I must decline the offer and have lit my watchtowers to let all know of my choice. I would hope that you would reconsider Mazewood and Skara Brae as we are simple folk here, and out of consideration for the friendship we have shared in the past.
