*A very plain letter arrives sealed with the signet of Lord Dayel Stormcrow*

My Lady,

Pardon the abruptness of this letter, while you I am sure do not know me, I know well of you.My name is Adrien Garnier, a loyal servant and diciple of one Lord Dayel Stormcrow, a name I am sure resonates in your memory.

I would ask you to grant me the indulgence of a meeting, as I have a proposal you may be very interested in. I eagerly await your reply and until then, may the virtues guide and sustain you.

I remain your humble servant,
Lord Adrien Garnier
Agent of the King’s Hand

Rryn carefully sat up with the aid of her husband as he plumped the pillows behind her carefully.. their son resting quietly in his crib. He then handed her the posts and letters delivered that morning. She glanced thru them quickly her eyes resting on the elegant yet simple seal on one of the letters thinking it appeared familiar yet not quite placing where she had seen it before. She opened the letter raising the seal carefully so as not to damage it. Her eyebrows lifted and a small smile lightened her features at the familiar name written within remembering now the mark of the seal. With a nod to her husbands questioning glance she handed the letter to him.
" You will want to respond to this post haste I am sure" he stated simply and made his way to get her writing materials and a flat bedtable for her to use. She thanked him and began to write her letter of response.

Lord Adrien Garnier,
I am most pleased to have received your letter this day. You are correct I do not know of you however I have heard of and have respect for your liege Lord Dayel Stormcrow.
I would be honored to meet with you and hear what proposal you bring. I must admit to curiosity at it but coming from a servant of Lord Stormcrow, I am sure it is of legitimate importance. As we are currently residing at our summer residence in Tokuno, I am sure any time you are available to travel here we will be available. Please send a pigeon or messenger ahead of time and we will make arrangements for your comfort in one of our guest homes with a staff to see to your needs for however long you wish to visit. We look forward to your honored presence.

In Honor
Lady Rryn Anyai
Empress of Tokuno

She closed the letter and added her seal to the flap before handing it to her husband. He bent down and kissed her cheek with a promise to return as soon as he saw it safely into the hands of the royal messenger.
