Dear Pol,
I am know that you must be concerned, as you have not heard from me in some time. Please know that all is well with me, and I have recovered from the illness from that dog biting me.
I fear that it is still not safe to return home, and King has assured me that you can stay at his winter Palace for as long as is necessary. I am still greatly concerned about the threat posed by this Dark Order. Until I am sure your safety is guarenteed, I feel it best you stay in Malas. I shall stop by soon to see you now that I am fit for travel once again.
Until then, try not to beat up too many of King's servants. He has already had to replace two because of your sharp tongue.
Sincerely,
Thomas

Poledra sat up in bed and looked to the door as Amy walked in,"m'lady I have a letter from Thomas for you...,"she said as she moved closer to the bed and handed over the letter to her.
"Thank you Amy...,"Pol said as Amy nodded her head then turned and stepped out,it was time for her and King's morning ride through Malas. Watching the young elf leave Pol smiled at her happiness with King then looked to the letter,"you old fool....you better be on your way here...,"she said as she ripped it open and began to read.

The Old Fool.
Growling softly she stood up and moved to the table, sitting down she picked up the quill and began to write, her hand moving quickly as it tended to do when she was upset.
Thomas,
It would be wise for you to return as soon as possible I fear my sharp tongue is more than King can handle at the moment. If I must seek you out I can promise our reunion will not be a pleasant one.
Your Angry Wife,
Poledra
Whistling softly she smiled as her hawk touched down on the window still,"make sure he gets this Beldin..,"she said as she tied the scroll to his talon then fed him a piece of raw meat,"go Beldin...,"she said as the hawk took flight. |
