A solid template would be a chiv/nox warrior, you'll need a decent suit with 4/6 casting to get the full effect from the template.
Chivalry
Tactics
Poisoning
Meditation
Fencing or Swords
Magic Resist
Parry
You could alternatively drop magic resist and parry if you wanted to pick up healing/anatomy and use potions and other items to counteract the lack of parry and magic resist, however that adds a lot of complexity to the template.
Though if your an RP purist, a paladin with poisoning would be a tad odd. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |

Yeah what he said.. but keep this in MIND...
Training Poisoning kills your karma big time. ... I would suggest you train on another char then stone over when high.
Paladins karma affect the strength of their spells. So if you have neg karma your healing wont be as effective.
Another suggestion, start a char with 50 poisoning and 50 alchemy. Train both then stone over poisoning. Get a good Ecru Citrine Ring with FC/FCR and you would rock. _________________ "Always speak the Truth even if it leads to your death." - Lord Godfrey |

I have a solid build that lasted years and still is good without changing...but... *sticks out tongue* it's top secret.... in my mind!
But anyways.. dont ge tpoison if your a warrior. Pointless. Just find a person that can poison you can get your weapons poisoned *coughs* walter *coughs* or Darmug *coughs* Then you can put the 100 points elsewhere!

Poison kicks Arse!
You know Nothing Taro! Nothing I say!
I only poison his weapons to stay on the good side of the man who's single handedly planning to take over atlantic :/ _________________

Pfft, not at all. You just have odd friends who taught you the skill! I would say after having poisoning on both a fencer and a swords, go fencing. The swords is extremely hard as you can't just make an awesome cleaver or butcher knife. You have to find it. However, everyone makes warforks and katanas. And poisoning is awesome. Don't listen to Taro!
As far as best template, I've no clue. Yell for Vaen as they said. |

I think if you're roleplaying a Ranger or huntsman, as in the classic type.. not like an animal tamer.. poisoning is a pretty reasonable skill to have.
Plus, drow are famous for poison. Even if you are going for the over played out "nice good decent just" drow. |

I personally love having poisoning on a necro warrior. I play one with
Necro
Ss
Nox
Fencing
Tact
Anat
Heal
No parry or resist sucks but...Load up on DCI and use pots/band aids/Spirit speak and I usually get by. The character is harder to survive with than My chiv dexxer is, but he's also a hell of a lot more offensive than my chiv dexxer. _________________ "You see I can not be forsaken, because I'm not the only one.
